Appointment Policy
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.
For your convenience, "drop-off" appointments are available. A "drop off' means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for evaluation. Usually we will ask you to "drop off" sometime in the morning so our doctor can examine the patient as time permits. Once the doctor has completed the examination, she or a member of her nursing staff will call you to go over any recommended tests or treatments, as well as schedule a discharge time.
Cancellation Policy
Our goal at Friendship Animal Hospital is to provide quality individualized medical care in a timely manner. Due to an increasing number of “no show” and same day cancellations, combined with a high demand for services there will now be a charge for missed appointments and cancellations that are made less than 24 hours from your appointment time.
First offense of canceling within 24 hours of your appointment- arriving more than 10 minutes late, or a no show will not result in a fee. This will be documented in your chart, along with an explanation of our policy.
Anything following that first offense will result in a $35 fee that must be paid prior to future visits. .
